Never have we been this happy to be home. What a long trip it was and thankfully we were able to come home a day early. We are dealing with lice for now. We will laugh about this some day, right? I have never seen so many bugs in a little guys hair and then of course crawling on me after we applied that lice shampoo last night. We had to take clippers to Yetagesu's hair and I don't think Matt will be making a living as a hair stylist anytime soon. It was quite traumatic for him so I pray he will grow to trust us.
Right now we are waiting to hear from our doctor's office. Do we need to bring the boys in today or not? Does Isaac need to continue antibiotics or not? We had to dump ours in New York.
Emotionally I feel like I had a baby, same type of hormones going on. Lots of tears and prayers in adjusting.
Yetagesu is playing and eating, we are learning a lot. We are skeptical of whether he has scabies or ringworm too. Also, his belly is very distended which could be malnutrition or some other problem. He goes to the bathroom a lot so maybe a parasite thing, plus his breath smells quite bad. Maybe a tooth issue? For sure we will bring him in for more tests on Monday.
Notoriously late update

Esias had the bloating and the breath- he had a parasite. I pray it all clears quickly and he can soon play happily and everyone can rest as ease!
Yes, probably a parasite. Hang in there... cry all that you need to, it's part of the healing and the transition. I'm praying for you and look forward to pictures and the update that says both your boys are healthy and happy. Don't worry, your new little one will trust you in time.
So glad you made it home safely! I felt so much for you on that trip. It was rough for all of us, but being pregnant too? Woah. You were such a trooper. We are also still dealing with the lice and the constant bathroom/excessive drinking water issuses too :(
It was a challenging, emotional road, I don't blame you for feeling like you had a baby. You did! A very big, 2.5 yo bouncing baby boy.
Super glad we can keep in touch. Will watch here to see how things are going for you and will keep all 5 of you in our prayers.
I am glad you made it home safely. Somehow while on the way home I got sick. YUCK. SO I am very glad to be home with a bathroom constantly available. And hope I feel better soon! Yohanna is being a trooper. She is such a content little baby.
